The Story: I See a Little Bird

One day, Tom went to the park with his dad.

He saw a little bird on the ground. The bird did not fly.

"Dad! Look! This bird is on the ground," Tom said.

His dad came and looked. "Oh no! It is a baby bird. It fell from its nest."

Tom looked up. He saw a nest in the big tree. A mother bird was in the nest.

"Can we help it?" Tom asked.

"Yes," said Dad. "We can put it back in the nest."

Tom put the little bird in the nest. The mother bird looked at Tom. She did not fly away.

The baby bird opened its mouth. The mother bird gave it food.

"The bird is happy now," Tom said. "It is with its mom."

Tom felt good in his heart.
